SS Dagger Opinions

I've taken the plunge on an SS Dagger from Lakesidetrader. Please comment.

Question

The dagger is just fine. Love to see the patina around the eagle.

But a question, is the scabbard a repaint? It would originally be anodized. Maybe it's the pics, but it appears to be black paint?

Paul is a great guy to deal with. I think you got a nice dagger and one that won't keep you up at night worrying whether it's screwed with or not. When it comes to SS daggers, you don't want to be losing sleep

This is a real SS dagger, in my opinion. The blade looks like it has been buffed with steel wool. Also, I believe a vertical hanger was once used on this piece. This is a good sign that the scabbard was most likely original to the dagger.
