Guys please leave some for the rest of us! Can you give a few pointer as to how to spot a fake? Is there any one thing that really atands out? Thanks in advance.
Doug, Buy the books, but more importantly attend every show that you can. You'll find a collector that will allow you to inspect these dagger first hand, and will show you what to look for. JR
I agree with JR...there is really no substitute for being able to handle a dagger, feel the fit of the blade/scabbard ansd note all the subleties that don't present themselves even in the best of photos. You can make one trip th the MAX or the S-O-S and learn more in two days than you can in months elsewhere.
