DLV knife. Excellent. Questions

Hi guys,
I bought this a while back - 2009.
People who know me, know I am a political awards collector.

This dagger has some minty, beautiful qualities. Also, some questions.

Here you go.
Is there a market for this one?

From your photo's it looks like a nice DLV. Nothing wrong with it IMO. What were your concerns ?

Thanks so much for your reply.
If you notice,
It has a small rust spot near the Logo. A shame since the blade is almost perfect like a mirror.
I don’t know if my photos show the spot clearly.

Other than that, I think it is ok. Better than most I’ve seen.
I think I will take more photos to show all details more clearly and put it on Estand.

I’ll have to guess a price. I know what I paid for it- but that was a ridiculous amount.
More then $2500! () I don’t want that much.

That is a very nice example retaining much of the original frosting. Most have had that cleaned to oblivion! Nice DLV!

The grip leather is a different colour from the scabbard leather, did you buy this one from T .Wittmann ?

So, the difference in colors In grip and scabbard I am not happy about.

It is a quite beautiful piece. But how much does the difference in color between grip and scabbard effect the value? I put it on e-stand, but I am going now to revise my description to mention the color difference now. I am not out to trick anyone, I would rather keep it first.
