I came across this luft forestry bayonet, and it's unmarked.
Could you please leave your opinions on this piece?
    Regards,

Blade has been polish down and markings removed. Is there an H on the top blade spine next to the cross guard?

The details of the blade are quite soft, I agree with Ron that it must have been polished/ground down somewhat. Also, the scabbard may not be original to the piece and looks like a Weimar era item.

Firstly i assume its a knife and not a bayonet, secondly the scabbard is for belgian FN Fal bayonet so wrong here. about the knife i am not expert on similar pieces, but there is a thread here only about this knife here in forum. b.r.Andy
The screws on hilt should be brass.

Yes, The knives have been discussed at great length with no verifiable connection to the Luftwaffe. Which makes you wonder when and how they got that name??? Maybe someday the uncertainty will be resolved, but not as I understand it now. FP

I don't have any more pictures of this knife, but the blade was ground, don't know why, and it's condition is not very good, so i'm passing on this one.
              Thank you for your comments!
