SS Dagger, Ernst Röhm. Need opinions.

Hello all!

Fellow colleagues, I would like to hear your thoughts on that SS dagger, especially on inscriptions.
Thanks in advance!

Correct Eickhorn inscription IMO.

I'm on board with this dagger as well.

I like it, too. I appears to be a nice Eickhorn Röhm full inscription piece from the Munich SS Distribution Center. Too bad it has some staining on the blade.

Looks good. Does it have an assembler's number and have you looked at the tang markings?

This will get 'em going

"Ratty" (errr, not really - let's say "Fatty") and cool!

Maybe it's the angle. Maybe it's the sharpness.
I love SS Rohm daggers but given these pictures, I have reservations.

I don't like to see that type of SS runesbutton on a Röhm dagger made by Eickhorn.
Eickhorn used a very specific type of runes which are only seen on their Röhm daggers.
I also don't exclude that the grip was reworked and the gripinsignia were replaced.

How many FULL Rohm SS daggers do we get to see, nowadays - even those "enhanced"?

OK, sure . . . but all-in-all, it's really not that bad - is it?

I’m not a metal expert and maybe someone can help.
That looks to be corrosion near the hilt. I suppose it’s the same thing on the tip.
How in the world does that happen but the middle of the blade is fine?

krikke,
Is this the proper SS roundel used on Rohm daggers ?

Corrosion in this area on sa and ss daggers is very common it where moisture gets in between the scabbard throat and cross guard

That is exactly the runesbutton I mean.
