Dolch: Excuse me, I find it not polite to jump on someones theme to show your own daggers, and: Would you please show your dagger in a own theme, I think, there could be space for discussing how a type C grip could go along with a 1 type crossguard, just to mention one thing, that isn´t OK with your dagger.

Hi Steelcollector,

Very nice textbook example of an Eickhorn type 1 dagger. One of my favourite daggers!! It stands out in every way compared to all the other Eickhorn types especially in weight but obviously also in quality craftsmanship!
Every one I've seen have ALL had the exact same color slant grip. Would love to know whether there were any other type 1 slantgrip colours?
