I recently acquired a Siemens single earpiece headset with an F33 plug (5 pin) the microphone capsule is dead it bears the legend "Fg mph 90a" and a number "6L11". Does anyone know if it is possible to obtain a replacement?

A photograph would help to identify the type.... It is probably a carbon microphone, did you try knocking and shaking it to loosen the granules?
