German artillery "computer"

One of my colleagues has this small box containing this equipment
L.F.H. 16 means Light Field Howitzer 1916.
I reckon this is a sort of cumputer which does the fast measurement of firing for this light field gun (10.5 cm).
Any idea what it is called in English/German and what's the value of rare Equipment like this?
