    Eastern European?

When Nazi-Germany invaded Norway in 1940, we had some help from outside in trying to stop the invasion. That included also some troops from Eastern Europe.
After the war, we found euipment not manufactured in Germany. Some units came my way and I wonder if people here can help me to identify 2 pieces :

    Any comments ? THanks

    Ragnar

The equipment is positively pre-war Czech (Czechoslovakia) origin.

          Hello!
This is the Absorptionsfrequenzmesser for the radiostation RP7-V6 made in Tschechoslowakei from 1931. Later it was used by German troops for education and got the name Funkgerät RO 31. That is how it came to occupied countries like Norway and France. It has nothing to do with the fightings in Norway 1940.
          Best regards, P2000.

Many thanks for response. This emerged in Northern Norway, which is why I believed it came with the troops helping us at the battle of Narvik . I have recently learned that it was the famous Polish Podhales Riflemen Brigade that came in 1940.

              Hi,

about the company Vojenské Telegrafní Dílny: when Germany made the Czech Republic to a protectorate, the company was renamed to Telegraphen Werkstätte, Prag. A year later it was assigned to Ostmarkwerke (as Werk Prag, Gbell). Under the last two names we can find FF33 models as well, the TW is the rarest next to Hauser. The VTD (amoung the other 3 Czech makers: Telegrafia, Mikrofona (Brüder) Knotek and Prchal Ericsson) was the maker of the field phones VZ.23 and VZ.35, the last being one of the technically most sophysticated WW2 phones.
Here's an FF33 with TW logo:

And one with the OW logo:
