    New transmitter 80 W.S.a

    Bought this one today.
I decided to make the step from FF33 to radio's and transmitters

It looks fairly complete, one missing meter and offcourse the lid. I didn't opened it yet, but I'm curious what's missing inside.

Were where these transmitters used and is it easy to find parts?
    I'm a total noob with German radio's

    Thanks!

    best regards Sven

Nice find, needs a bit of TLC!

As to parts, probably not easy to find, unless your are lucky. Depends on the parts of course....

The 80 W.S.a was used by armoured reconaissance troops and could be found in their wheeled, tracked or half tracked armoured vehicles.

        Thanx!

I will post pictures of the inside soon.

The first thing I want to find is offcourse the missing meter, so if anyone has a spare one for sale, let me know.

Does anyone have complete sets of this one?
        (power suplly, cables, antenna)
Would like to see some pictures.

        best regards Sven

To bad, no pics from the inside.
Never got the thing. The pics where from the seller.
Seller dissapeared, and took my 160 euro I paid for the radio.
contacted the police but they're going to do nothing cause it's just 160 euro's.

there goes my search for a nice German radio

Always stay alert with internet deals

          best regards Sven

Name and place could offcourse be made up. Was on the Dutch marktplaats.nl.
He/she must have knowledge of german WWII equipment.

I came across 1 pic of the same set via google. Source was ebay.tv, but advertisement is already gone.

Always be on your guard guys, to bad this can happen.

Sorry you got bitten. The asking price sounded to good to be true, especially if it included postage! Did you contact your bank as well, perhaps they can trace the bank account.

                  regards,

                  Funksammler
