Rope? Strap? For antenna? Help please..

Hello!

I need your help. I have this rope/strap with D-ring. Its 100% german made (typical german strap, D-ring, quality.. ). I absolutely dont know what is it... Please help.

It looks like something from a four horse hitch. I think the leads for the front horses pass through the loops on the rope. I might be wrong but it certainly has nothing to do with antenna equipment.

This carabiner (Karabinerhaken) looks too modern for my eyes. At least
it doesn't resemble those german period ones i have seen.
