2 US microphone & earphone sets

Hi,

I have in my collection 2 different microphone sets, 1 with earphones and 1 only microphone.

Unfortunately, I don´t know anything about them.

I´d appreciate your information on those, are they WWII issue and use ?

I think the first one is a US "Chest Set TD-1", used with telephone exchanges.

I don't know the second type, it uses a british microphone, but the straps on it look US made. I don't know why the Americans would make such a holder for a British microphone though....

Just a wild guess, but the USA ( Emerson company ) produced the WS48 pack radio for the U.K.
