    Panzer headphones, Dfh B

Since I'm not an expert on panzer headphones, is this a good one, especially the rubber earcussions?

    Thanx a lot!

    best regards Sven.

The headset is ok itself but I don't recall seeing that variation of earpads, not meaning they're bad, but slightly different. Now, do they smell or have a very "rubbery" touch? or are they a bit hard and stiff?

Those pads are used on other german headsets, but are not correct for Pz. Except for the pads, the headset is correct for a tanker.

I have got a pair with similar "puffy" pads, again probably not original to the headset as the fit to the earpieces is not as precise as with the typical pads. The rubber appears WW2 German Buna, but I have not found any ohter type of headset to which they are a better fit. They remind me a bit of the pads used on KM types, but they are different again....

          Thanx!
          I didn't buy them yet, they where 230 euro's.
I'll keep my money for a set with correct ear-rubbers.
If I give that amount of money, I want them text book

          best regards Sven.

Sound decision! Replacing those pads will cost you more than 80 euros, so it doesn't pay in the end.

                Hi,

I agree, these rubber pads are probably NOT panzer.
Not sure but they could be a variation of the rubber pads used in the headphones once mentioned in the following thread:

                http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=475199

I understand the headphones in that thread were used together with field phones and were worn by flak crews.

                Best regards,

                Cristiano

These rubber pads are not quite like those in the other thread, as these are removable and the other are not (they are riveted). I have not yet been able to find the real use of that other headset.
