    help ID this radio please?

    Hello all,

    Can anyone please shed some more light on this type of radio, what is it exactly?

        This is the "Strecken- und Feldfernsprecher M5" (1905). Interesting to have an 1940 year on it, most probably not the original manufacturing date. These phones were quite light-weighted, so very polular among telegraph and telephone line workers. It was still in use during the fifties.
        There was a separate battery box for it. The microphone part can be pulled out, so extended.
        The paper label inside is taken from a Feldelement D (T30), the one going into the FF33.
        The Kammerer brothers made a lot of line communication equipment (including OB38 and 10 lines Klappenschrank), so I believe their factory repaired this piece in '40.
        I will check later on if they could be the original maker as well or not.
