Torn Fu D2 Restoration

Greeting all, I have a d2 that needs restoring any helpful tips or advice would be great. Also is the paint on the faceplate authentic or redone.

Thanks Funksammler. Are the data plates painted or engraved, and as far as paint goes I'm guessing panzer gray for case and faceplate.

All the date plates are engraved, similar to the remaining one on your radio. Some of the original colour remains on the antenna socket and small cover for the channel preselects. All the knobs except the volume control appear to be original.

Just an update. D2 sanded, primed, and painted. The case needs more work. I have a relic D2 case that has the latches and hooks that are missing.
