    Telephone mast drilling bar.

    New item.

    Perhaps also employed by engineers (pioneer) troops but similar, shorter and lighter, than Spanish ones employed to break the terrain when you are going to erect a telephone mast.

    A really hard work, using this device "without batteries ...", to do a hole near one meter down ...

    New info about this item

    Hello gentlemen.

    I´ve got recently new info about this item.

    Official designation could be PFAHLEISEN.

    I´ve seen a nearly identical item in this document KatS-Dv 861 (Feldkabelbau), a Katastrophenschutz-Dienstvorschriften (KatS-DV) edited by German Bundesamt für Zivilschutz in October 1990

    You can see it on page 25 and some more items reused or manufactured by Germany after the war, related with German Leitungen Fermeldedienst.

    There are a lot of links in google which lead us to the Dv. I clicked this one:
