    Anker bohrer

    Hello again.

New pictures of another, probably unknown, German Signals and Engineers item, the "Anker Bohrer". This is a two hands manual drill used by Nachritchtentruppen to fix the iron pieces like 16 mm diameter screws that hold the communication cables in mast on aerial lines.

I show here several photos of four of my drills, in which you can see the general shape ( its length is about 25 cm. and diameter is 16 mm.) and the markings on it.

On the upper end you can see a rounded zone to insert a wooden stick to push and rotate the drill in order to make the hole in the wood.

There are in two of the images a WaA marking that I´ve never seen before. I would like that if some of you know it, you could share the info about it.

    Enjoy the images.

    Best regards.

    Ezesar.

      Thanks.

Would it be possible to have some images or at least data of your A.B. (year maker logo WaA ...?)

      Regards.

          Thanks Erich.

I have another one similar to this but I haven´t seen any marking similar to the other one markings, so I supposed It could be Spanish. I will try to find something like is in your drill next week to confirm mine is also German.

          Regards.

          César.
