Torn. fu. extension reel box?

Just got this box in. One piece closer to get my Hap2 complete

Is it the extra box for the extension reel for the fernbesprechung for the torn. fu. b ?
What does the letters stand for, Verlang leitung.......

To bad the felt disc is missing on the inside.

It is for an extension cord, but not for the "V.K. (Fbg.bf)". When I saw the box before, I wondered what the Sch.M.M. stood for. It is for a (single core) "Leitung", rather than for a (multi core) "Kabel". I suspect something like SchweißMaschine Motor. Other than the lettering, it is exactly the same box.

Still a very nice box so it will go into my transport/ammunition box collection instead of the communication section

Never seen such a markings before and i suspect that maybe the box is later
reused and the new lettering is done after war.

That was my thought also, the white lettering seems very thick.
but mayby it was reused in the war, the germans used a lot of stuff for other things than what they where made for. I have for example a 2cm flak box with a label for heavy explosives.

I have the same box, though it is marked Vl.K. (Fbg.bf) Neither mine is quite complete with content, but from a Web page that is no longer current (desyatnik.com) I have some nice illustrations and descriptions regarding this box.
