I spotted this on eBay is it real or Frankenstein? looks to me like one half of a twin headset !

It has a landline plug so I think it is part of a telephone operator headset

These could be used as a single earphone (with a spring metal headband and chinstrap) or in pairs (with a web headband). Looks OK but not a lot of detail visisble.
