I have this Kienzle clock or tachograph, and I would like to find out exactly what it was used for. On the inside, it looks like it would take a round piece of paper to record on. I wound it up, and it ran for almost 11 days, it stayed very accurate.

It is an old Heavy Goods Vehicle Tachygrraph from the 1960's. The instrument records if the vehicle is in movement or not, it was used to check the hours driven and hours rest of the driver. I am afraid it is post war and not military....
