Originally posted by Val View PostThanks, so the lower one there is 2,4NC58. Was it interchangable with 2b38 - Horch Empfänger etc?

I have once seen a special series resistance for use with the Torn.Fu.b1, which had to be placed between the battery terminal and the lead. This allowed the 2,4 NC28 or 58 to be used. I don't think this was a widespread practice though....
I started to think about the filament voltage also.
I stumbled into this article, which author runs RKK museum - www.rkk-museum.ru - where is in case of several Fu.H.E radios is mentioned 2 В 38 and 2,4 NC 58 in parallel. It would be interesting to know the origin of that info - maybe some misprinted manual or similar... Fortunately the autor is also the member of this forum, maybe he sheds some light...

D 1054/1 for Fu.H E.c states indeed for powering either two 2B38 or 2.4NC58 sammlers.
However - there's a warning - Sammler 2,4 NC 58 nur verwenden nach entfernung des kurzschlussbügels im empfänger! Hierzu.
And the instruction follows. So - indeed, it supports both type of batteries, however you must make change inside the receiver to switch to other type of battery.
