In general, they were referred to as "Kopfgeschirr", official typenames were on the typeplate. There are various types of these, the one in my display is a type C42a from 1944 and has a large speaking horn connected to the earpiece.

    It was discussed here: http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=590383

I am planning to get a glass head to mount it together with the special gasmask with microphone.

    regards,

      Thanks !!

Kinky !!! ( you don't want to know what you get when you google on Kopfgeschirr)

Mine is a C37e with the gasmask and telefon anschluss from 1939

I will post some picture later of the complete set with gasmask and micro connected to the KM FF33

Here some pictures of loose parts

      1st a normal GM30 with Mikroanschluß

And !!! a very rare GM38 with mike

and the illustrous mike itself in its aluminium box (KM stamped)

Haven't had time yet to make pictures of the KM FF33

btw a lot of these can be found in the Atlantik Wall museum in Oostende !
(sorry about the bad quality.... wrong setting on my camera )

Missing no more, so they do exist!

The "Gleichstromwecker" is mounted on a small wooden panel with a green painted metal cover:

            <a href="http://s672.photobucket.com/user/Funksammler/media/DSC05999_zps9cc3d007.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i672.photobucket.com/albums/vv86/Funksammler/DSC05999_zps9cc3d007.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo DSC05999_zps9cc3d007.jpg"/></a>

            <a href="http://s672.photobucket.com/user/Funksammler/media/DSC06000_zpsbe3ae1bd.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i672.photobucket.com/albums/vv86/Funksammler/DSC06000_zpsbe3ae1bd.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo DSC06000_zpsbe3ae1bd.jpg"/></a>

The back of the wooden panel has a number of brackets so that the bell can be hung on a wall:

            <a href="http://s672.photobucket.com/user/Funksammler/media/DSC06001_zps86d6fc5d.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i672.photobucket.com/albums/vv86/Funksammler/DSC06001_zps86d6fc5d.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo DSC06001_zps86d6fc5d.jpg"/></a>

The metal cover slides off revealing the DC bell inside:

            <a href="http://s672.photobucket.com/user/Funksammler/media/DSC06002_zpsa3dd5104.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i672.photobucket.com/albums/vv86/Funksammler/DSC06002_zpsa3dd5104.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo DSC06002_zpsa3dd5104.jpg"/></a>

This example is 1943 dated, it appears that the maker mark was originally stamped in white paint, I have yet to identify the maker mark. It is also stamped with Wa.A 831:

            <a href="http://s672.photobucket.com/user/Funksammler/media/DSC06003_zps62b7b501.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i672.photobucket.com/albums/vv86/Funksammler/DSC06003_zps62b7b501.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo DSC06003_zps62b7b501.jpg"/></a>

Placed next to the 10 line exchange gives an impression of scale:

            <a href="http://s672.photobucket.com/user/Funksammler/media/DSC06005_zps324abcc2.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i672.photobucket.com/albums/vv86/Funksammler/DSC06005_zps324abcc2.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo DSC06005_zps324abcc2.jpg"/></a>

I cleaned and adjusted the bell, so it is now ringing again. It needs about 3 V to get going, but it sounds happier at about 5V. Probably needs a bit more fine tuning!

            regards,

            Funksammler

                              Grosse Feldklappenschrank

I have recently purchased the Base Unit A, for the set along with a 1-10 line and a 11-20 line stackable klappenschrank which goes with the set up. Does anybody know where to source the Base Unit B, or any other parts such as the Conference call unit, 3-line Amtszusatz, battery or any other components that could be added to this setup to improve it the Base Unit A is complete with the cable weights but the Table Frame is missing unfortunately. Can anyone help or advise me on this?

                              Thank You,
