Kriegsmarine ship compass ww2

Just got this home a nice heavy compass in great condition.
It weights 21 kg.
What ship could this come from? And a prox. Date?

Isnt there anybody who knows anything about this type of compass?

Hello,
A compass made in Hamburg for the third reich marine.
I' m no spécialist but I would thing designed for small surface vessels.

I am not sure if it is exactly the same compass but there are Kriegsmarine equipment collectors out there that will know....

Date would be 1938. As far as I know that was the only year the german navy used a gothic M under the eagles.
Ships of may sizes used these compasses. Be carefull not to store it in a too hot place. The liquid inside can turn white, like milk.

Schnellboot kompas PLATH but one piece is missing on the top
