Hi all. I am really enjoying finding out about the details of my field phones. I have a question about the phonetic plate of the lids of the phones. I am not home right now to see which phones have what, but I have one with Schule and one without Schule on the plate. Could someone explain why. As I remember they are both WWII dated FF33 phones. Also I understand there was some changes with T and J during the war. Any thoughts? Thanks. Bil

The phonetic alphabet was changed when the "greenstripe" model was introduced (I am still trying to pin down the date when the "greenstripe" model was introduced...).
Here is a comparison between the "no stripe" (top) and the "greenstripe" (bottom) models:

The B, F, H, J, K, M, Oe, T, Y were changed and the Sch added.
