hello i look to what you indicate , but LO150FK38 is not the transmitter
used for meteo beacon , i must have the original book of lo150fk38
this tx was used by police and may be other services .
the meteo tx is a LO40K39 that they modify , by putting
more powerfull tubes RS 337 ? if i remember well , they increase
anode voltage and the label is LO150 FK41 only a small serie was modify

        LO150FK41s 1xRL12p35 OSc 2X RL12P35 in PA. similar e10l or e10k

        see : http://www.laud.no/ww2/lo40k/index.htm

          hello
not completely correct my set is LO150FK41 sa , tubes are like you says
          RS391, about Rl12 P35 they are from S10 L or K not E10 L or k
about wikepedia article , it' s not complete as it's only spoken about the WFL 26 undiscover for 40 years after war . the WFL is
build with all his sections tubes on land , but WFS is put into the sea
like a buoy, there is a mooring anchor , that can be put to depht till
2.000 meters , also a special filling system giving stability
to beacon , antenna was around 10 meters high . a clock system is used
to send informations . in the film the battle of the bulge , a general says , that he has informations , about weather that will let stay allies planes to earth
i think it's informations given by WFL or WFS , that permitted this battle .
WFS is transport like a torpedo , but on deck and is not launched like
torpedo even if size is same .
about WFL after the discovery of WFL 26 by canadians , there is also one found , in spitzberg , were the german has put at least 6 units .
in trenkle book there is a picture with an ARADO plane , did you know that they parachute men , to prepare the landing and take off of this airplane , years after the war , the traces are still seen from the air , spitzberg set were destroyed , but not by germans , and i have read that Norvegians recover the rest and stow them in oslo museum ?
the weather station builded were the base principes , for post war meteo
and also pole expeditions ; it's a nice subject for forums
