Knob / Drehknopf for a WH radio?

Hello,

While detecting in a forest I found this....along with completely shot up aluminum and metal parts that look this the housing for some sort of radio or communication equipment. I should have taken photos of all the part, but they were in such bad condition. In the area was a lot of rifle rounds, Leuchtmunition and schrapnel.

If this piece is of use to someone, please let me know and you can have it!

Hi Erich,

This knob was used for the antenna tuning control on the Torn.Fu.b1 transceiver. It is interesting that Bakelite is one of the few period materials that survives relatively well after being buried for so long.
