    Norwegian Sweetheart radio

Hi what do you think of this littele radio?

From the info I have been gathering its a "spy" radio that was droped by the British over occupied Norway.

If I have read correctly 50 000 of these where produced and 5000 doped over Norway.

I also have this set. European collectors, please tell if you have other language versions.

And why I haven't seen these in Central European radiomuseums, were all dropped to Norway? After all, these were British made.

I think you will find all there is to know about the Type 31/1 (Sweetheart) radio there :-)

      Best regards

        Sweetheart

This receiver was designed by a Norwegain, the late Willy Simonsen, founder of SIMRAD, while he worked for SOE in UK during WW2.
