Identity sought for Siemens combined ammeter and voltmeter
Can anyone identify this Siemens combined ammeter and voltmeter? Siemens corporate stated that they thought it had to do with communications equipment, yet I saw a similar piece (different amperage rating) on a 60 cm searchlight.
Seem typical voltages and currents for a carbon arc lamp, so these probably did come from a smallish searchlight. A google search for the 60 cm Flakscheinwerver comes up with a 60V and 90 A rating, which seems spot on for your instrument.
