    What does LW mean ?

L.M.Ericsson of Sweden is one of the tele gigants, with subsidiaries in many countries. A Scandinavian " ITT " !

Sorry, i should have said 'Luft' and maybe not 'LW'. The throat mic is on an elastic cord and has NO WA stamp anywhere. I got it 20+ years ago, also a beautiful Ericcson telegraph key, from a veteran. Definitely was obtained in Germany. I saw in one of my books, don't recall title but it is a U.S. military directory of ground and navy radio, with a page or three on an Ericcson radio used by the KM - big radio about 5 ft tall, a beautiful and very modern looking set, made me think of the US Navy's TCS equipment. So apparently, Ericsson supplied some level of manufactured electronics to the Reich? Along with steel, but i don't recall when this trade was ended, probably when it looked like the Reich could no longer threaten Sweden. This topic is one i want to look more into - i'm interested in what the Reich would have to trade, as the war went on. Hue
