    Samos antenna cable

After searching a long time for this cable, I finally found it. The cable is very thick (almost 2 cm in diameter), and the connector is very heavy and large.

Cable cross-section. There are two shielded coaxial cables running within the rubber insulation. I have never seen a configuration like this.

Is that something was issued or was self-made?...

Looks like it may have been made from an original connector.

Super-twinax, how interesting. Your photos reminded me i should dig out my Samos, i could listen to FM broadcast, maybe even the local CoastGuard, altho i'd guess the IF bandwidth is more for wideband FM. -Hue
