Double bunker telephone frame

Hi all,
This is a Festung Brest find by myself...seems like two bunker phones were joined together and only the double casing remains today.
Anyone has more info on the subject?

I'm fairly sure these are not Phone Boxes as such, but either Switching / electrical back boxes, can't find any better pics..but see below for the sort of equipment I think they are.
