    Found New Set

    Hi Guys

I recently came across radio set and am trying to find some information on it,thinking of buying it It seems almost like a copy of a 15WS, But its R104 , Has russian writting on it, Seems to be in excellent shape, Priced under $200, My question is it needs a battery case and cables to power it, Anyone know where i might find one. Set is in excellent shape. Seems the russians tryed to copy the germans,Would make a nice display, Might also be close copy to Bc1306 american set, Thanx, Fred K

That is a very nice " Russian copy ". I have one- MINT , which I picked up immdiately after the Berlin wall came down.

I would ask Guenter Fietsch for starters. He usually has a stand at Hamradio in Fn and still sells a lot of WaPA gear.

      New Set

      Hi Ragnar

THanx for the information on the radio set, I have made purchase of it, awaiting the arrival from former east block state, I have also emailed Gunter for information on the set, The set was quite inexpensive, Also has canvas bag and handset, Wanted it because of the resemblence to the 15ws, When were these made and issued? Have seen one at a military show in past years, actually was being tested in use on 75 meter band, Worked as well as a Bc1306 or Grc 9 us one. Fred K
