        PP 15 Watt

        Yuri,
In photo is my Wehrmachtsfunkgerete collection; In photo PP is the 2 box transciver, with antenna.
        The PP is similar to the Torn Fu B1 , the difference : Torn Fu B1 is 2 V heating;PP is 12,6 V heating,Torn Fu B1 is RX 5 tubes RV2P800, PP is 6 tube , RV12P2000 tube; Tx is 2 x RL2P3 tube, PP is 3 x RL12P10 tube.

Wow! I have never seen something like that. Please post photos of the battery box, and the inside of the PP if you can.

                    Thank you,

                    Yuri

Thanks Misi, a very interesting set. I knew that they exported the Torn.E.b in a 12V version but I was not aware that they did the same with the Torn.Fu.b1.

Yuri, maybe you can tranfer these postings into a separate PP thread?

                      regards,

The PP - a 12 Volt version of the Torn.Fu.b1

This is a recently discovered version of the Torn.Fu.b1 which uses the RV12P2000 vacuum tubes (12 Volt filament voltage).

I have transferred the posts from another thread here for further discussion and information.

Nice unit. Even the voltmeter is different - with 12 volts filament.

Do you have the name of this guy still :-) ?
