Ukw.E.e. on Ebay

There is a Ekw.E.e. on Ebay that looks to be date 1944. It looks like it is missing a few items on the front but they look period. As the war progressed did the Germans start eliminating certain features to simplify the radio (Not just a power meter) or is this a post war modification?

The UKWEe does not have original knobs. Even 1945 produced UKW I have seen or have in my collection, have the correct knobs. At least one of the tube has been replaced by a modern component.

The MWEc is heavily modified inside with all tubes modified. It is however externally fine, except for the antenna connectors.

With correct spare parts, I guess both can be restored to original condition, at least externally.

of course the 3 knobs were wrong , at the end of war there are
sets without " pre-selection " it seems that this set is one of them
other sets like tornfu gk , b1 at the end were without pre-selection
and the hole is cover by a metal plate

inside Hf is missing shield , and owner replace a RV12P4000
by 12SG7
