    Conn Torn Eb Power Plug

    Hi Guys

Anyone know what the connections on the treminal strip behind front panel connect to the power plug sequence? I replaced the existing one with new one but dont know which terminals go to the back of the connector, on the strip are numbers 5 ,1,7, 0 etc , Doesnt show the strip numbers on a schematic. Thanx Fred

    Torn schematic.

    Hi Fred.

Here are 2 pictures, I hope this is enough for you to complete your job.
Otherwise just ask, I can then take pictures of the insides, of the one I have.
Just remember the bottom picture is of the cable plug, just to let you see the positions of the pins, I just checked my Torn and my cable plug, the pin numbers on cable and Torn connector match.

    Henrik

      Torn Conn

      Hi Henrik

The schematic is about the same that i have, The terml strip is the black phenolic one just behind the connector assy behind the front panel. I got the set, someone had subsitude wrong connector, pin conn were not correct, i disconnect the wires from the back of the connector added correct one but still trying to figure out where right connections are. if you could send pix of how yours is or tell the numbers on strip that correspond to the connector pins in the chassis connector, I could trace back using the schematic, but just need someone to send the correct pinout, email radiobunker@netzero.com. Torn Eb pinout

        Hi Fred.

        The Torn Eb pinout is:

        1: H+
        2: H-
        3:
        4: A+
        5: A-

Here is a pic of the mechanical connections, is is seen from bottom of receiver.

It is hard to see on the picture but the connections is as follows:

        Power connector pin:

1: to terminal strip no. 1
2: to chassis ground(right screw on power conn.) + fernhöher top connectors(connected to the right)
3: to terminal strip no. 2
4: to terminal strip no. 5
5: to terminal strip no. 8

The connections to the strip, is the strip closest to the powerconnector, the numbers is printed on the strip.

I hope this helps, otherwise just ask.

        Henrik

          Torn Conn

          Hi Henrik

Thankyou very much for the great photos and the pin out lists of the associated connections, Now i can correctly reattach the correct wires to proper pins, Wonder why these connections were not marked on the schematics? Regards, Fred K

            Hi Fred,

Actually, the connections are marked, but not on the official schematics

Here's schematics, drawn on the basis of the real E.b, along with terminal strip.

                Fred,

If not too much trouble, show us your E.b. Thanks.
