Is the pin distance the same as on the field telephone two pin plug? In that case it would fit the two pin sockets found on Flak guns.

I thought about that as well. Unfortunately my set is without the plug, but the speakers are exactly the same as in the FF33. Funksammler: where would the plug then fit into - a switchbox on the gun? - and which type of Flak guns are we talking about?
The cable is pretty long, so it would be possible to move a bit around with the set on. Also, I think that a steel helmet would fit on top, if you wear it (as supposedly meant to) with the cloth band on top of your head and the steel band behind the back of your head.

Interesting, so every crew member on a 88 Flak gun would wear a headset? Looks like the cover is missing from that connection box though.

In action, every crewmember on the gun (gunlayers, loaders, commander) would be connected by intercom. The din of firing would probably make normal communication impossible. Imagine a Flakturm with severel guns firing at the same time, the noise would be incredible. You need loud and soundproof headsets in those circumstances.
I have never seen a list of L-numbers, but there must have been an quartermaster catalogue of some sort. There is more information "Anforderzahl" Fl and "Luftwaffe Nachrichtengeraete" Ln numbers. The L-numbers were probably for anything non-aircraft and non-nachrichten specific.

they are different types , what i had post is slightly different of the type showed
by Ton , i also have the same type code on bakelite is L38201 , they are dynamic , and receiver is 150 ohms impedance , so different compare with a FF33
receiver , size is same . total impedance will be 300 ohms .
when you push on the heaset it stay closed , and action on small lever unlock
them , that's why i said in answer 10 it's for artillery use .
receiver are labelled HE210 and mine are from 1945 ., headset is from 1944 .
i had search for pictures , everybody is not wearing a headphone, sometimes
an officer , the flak 18 has only 2 bakelite boxes L38018 , where you can plug 4 headphones and 2 x5 pins telephone plug . at the bottom of the carriage
there is a big connector for multi purpose , datas , when kommando geraet is used , telephone ....
flak defense system is rather complex , flak 18 or other 36 ,41 may be used
alone , for AA purpose , or anti tank , but it's accurate when it is coupled with
kommandogeraet 35,36, 40 , 4 or 6 meter range finder , 150 cm searchlight
radar , to synchronize all the informations it requires a good communication system hence use of these headphones L38201 . flak 18 has a rate of fire again aerial target of 15-20 rounds per minutes , so it's certainly noisly , and it's not a single gun but batteries that open fire at same time .

You think despite (or inspite) the variety of plugs, there could be a possible connection of these sets with panzer "Funkhaube a"?
Just a crazy idea that crossed my mind after comparing these sets with the drawing of Uniform, Organization and History of Panzertruppe by James Bender.
Sorry if completely out of context here, I never saw an actual "Funkhaube a".
