One of Ragnar's U-boat photos has a Lo1UK39 mounted on the wall. Looks like the bottom of the case for that device has been cut off. The part that carries the anode battery and accessories is missing. Has this been cut off specifically for installation on a U-boat? I ask because I have an Lo1UK39 where the case was also cut off just like the one in the picture. Just wanted to know if this was a deliberate U-boat modification, or some post-war convenience mangling job.
I think I have a power supply for this radio in my shed. When the temperature goes up I will take a photo an post it here, in case somebody is interested.
