Ok this might sound like a dumb question on the surface but, I have a Torn E coming, that the sellar says should be working. How am I going to find out if it works? Obviously I can't just plug it in to the wall.
I know I need 2 Pertrix style batteries and 1 sammler 38. The Pertrix are 90 V but how much amperage does the radio draw? Does the radio need 90V or 180V? The sammler is 2V but again what does the radio draw? For now I am going to have to make do with a power supply but I need to decide how big.
I have some electrical knowledge and I do own a multimeter but anything beyond a very simple schematic drawing, I get lost. I know nothing about tubes.
I have a B1 that the seller said was 90% complete. I have no idea where to even start with that one!
Can anyone give me some suggestions?
