Do you have any Waffenamt stamps on your Torn. Fu. g?

      Thanks,

I dont see any, it does have the ark markings and the assembly numbers. If they were removed I sure I could find a trace of atleast one somewhere.

A Feldfunksprecher is a radio telephone. It is voice only, short range and consisted of a single load. It is designed to be operated while being carried.

A Tornister Funkgereat is a Backback radio. Usually voice and Morse code and medium range. It can be single or two load unit (radio + battery case). Not all models are designed to be operated while being carried.

Sometimes the distinctions are a bit blurred, the Torn.Fu.h and Feldfu.h have very similar capabilities and performance and operate on the same frequency. The Feldfu.h was probably the successor to the early war Torn.Fu.h.

              regards,

              Funksammler

                        Frequenzpruefer g

Some pictures of the "Frequenzpruefer g":

                        <a href="http://s672.photobucket.com/albums/vv86/Funksammler/?action=view&current=DSC00015.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i672.photobucket.com/albums/vv86/Funksammler/DSC00015.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

It is fed from the special socket on the inside of the set, the signal is fed through a special clamp to the antenna:

                        regards,

                        Funksammler
