    Field phones

Today I was going to the recycling place to get rid of some trash. I got there before they opened . So I had to kill some time, I went into the second-hand shop not expecting to find anything TR related I only went there to make the time go a bit faster but there these to phones just stood and waited for me
I know it is not somthing special but it is always nice to get a nice surprise and I got them both for only 13.50$

    Cheers

That's the deal of the decade. And they're in great condition. Congratulations on a nice pair of FF33s

          Hello,
I've got German field phone and I have question to you - is it original?
          It is marked: A.G. MUNCHEN - F.MERK TELEFON 1940

          Thanks in advance
          Best regards

Loks good to me, has it got the german alphabet on the lid? This would indicate to any post war use.

Congrats on a special find!! I owned one of these for a
few years and ended up selling it. I regret it now.
                I paid $75 if I remember correctly.

They are really cheap (compared to US market) on ebay.de. However, importing them is difficult:

Finding a German who speaks English (very common)

Finding a German that'll ship abroad (less common)

Finding a German that'll accept Paypal (barely listed, gotta ask)

but after this... the shipping will cost 20-45eur, but it'll still be cheaper than buying from a dealer

Yes it is the shipping that is the big problem on these they are quite heavy
