Well this visor looks messed with imo, the sweat band looks reapplied, also that sweat staining looks contrived. Is the visor even period ??

I also suspect the sweatband has been re-stitched, the signs are there.
Can't say for certain if the rest of the cap is ok, would have to handle it.Comment

In hand I do not see other problems.
Just some brownish zone in velvet but very very faint.
Lining is high and we'll stiched so do not help to see more. Certainly not rebanded.
Who put fake insignia make an excellent work cause is very very hard to do not drill lining. By the way original prongs are much more pointed so the work with fakes is easier also for less fear.Comment
