The skull and eagle are fake ,Overhoff didn't use those type prong attachments those type are only on fake skulls. Vince

As stated, the eagle and the skull are fake.
This is the "couple" m1/24 ,you will also find the sisters of these marked with es.pf, of the same forger.

Imo could be spotted only for material. Is not zinc not cupal but just solid metal. Another point is a black painting want simulate oxid but is just a sort of primer. Than the silver itself.
Unfortunately only moving them is possible to be really sure.
The eagle have a pussy and is easy to spot there and on eye.

About pussy is one of the key spot point.
About sweatband I do not follow you. Lining is high but is not a problem. Wagner pieces has a lot of lining, this could be just 0,5/1 cm higher but already seen

1) sweatband black sewing
2) sweatband without any sign of stains mirrored from lining
