Interesting SS cap

Hello,

I've been offered this field made SS cap and i've got quite good feelings about it. Found in Nothern France in the 90's according to the seller out of the woodwork.

Looks to be totally field made. Insignia has been sew on the cap.

I have rarely seen field made caps for SS troops... so your opinion is more than welcome

Skull is fake and the cap is not something I can believe is original.

Yes an old fake based loosely on the Overhoff design. Note the yellow mould-release agent on this. These were a regular feature of Manion's Auctions around the turn of the Millennia .. many have SS runes in a diamond on the back .
