    M43 Luftwaffe

    Good morning,

I am sharing with you this example of Feldmutze Model 43 of the Luftwaffe.
The conditions are quite good indeed it presents no imperfection or moth hole ..
The eagle and cocarde in ryon are both sewn by hand.
Inside there is the stamp Rbnr 0/0501/0015 and the year 1944 accompanied by size 58

    What you think guys ?

    Thanks in advance
    Nicola

Perfectly original cap, but I can't say if the insignias are period sewn.

After having looked at 29 examples from that maker in my data base, I concur with the "colleagues" that the insignias are there since the war.

This producer used bevo cockade machine applied and eagle either machine or hand stitched. Just go through this thread and compare with the cap you posted.

Every now and then you will see the occasionl odd ball. The insignias on your cap looks factory applied i.e. same thread on both eagle and cockade
Give a man an opinion and you feed him for a day,
teach a man to use the "search" function on the WAF and you feed him for a lifetime.

Very nice cap.If you’d look closely at the eagle you’d see that the machine sewing passes right over the wing and that detail alone speaks volumes about it being 109% original and unmessed with!
