The cap is at home but I believe Gaberdine.

Gary, here is mine by the same maker (HPC)--it is in Trikot, but the wool on yours appears finer than mine:

Gary, thanks for that--yours seems to be more of a fine Gabardine twill.

I have a yellow piped Luftwaffe visor from this maker as well. Material on mine is grey wool. Definitely a unique ventilation system. Surname Arnemann hand written under the sweatband.
