    Hello,

This one was posted on the Tony Barto SS Uniforms and Insignia Forum.

I wrote officer but it's of course a NCO's cap.
    I can't edit the title.

Not an original Clemens Wagner cap in my opinion.

Wool does not look correct and not keen on the white piping.
Also the repro insignia. Just my 2 cents worth.

I agree with Ben & Steve

A real lining sacrificed on the altar of profit, shrewdly turned over but badly reassembled

I would be very curious also to know if its pencil mark corresponds to the timbre of the size inside the sweatband ...

Obviously, who did this job studied the lesson well (but not too much) as he chose Karl Schlitt, herrenartikel & militaerbedarf, Worthstr. 4, Marburg Lahn, who was a real period retailer of military hats.

          Best regards

            Thank you for your comments.

So fake insignias, fake wool piping (waffenfarbe) on a Frankenstein cap.
