I have these, but I don't have a lot in them. I think they stand a chance. They are the black and white typical of the ss. Look like light combat wear, but I would still like you guys opinion, but please you have to explain why if you think they are not real. Also no pseudo experts. J

IS the sewing correct? Sweatband original? Most important, Burnmarks. But from the Picture you posted, i would say it has a good chance.

Maybe you did not know, but it was the planned SS headgear for after the war and intended to be used by music-bands for the annual party-day from 1950, as mentioned in the SS-Dienstvorschrift Nr. 6: Reichsparteitag, Teil 1, section IX Musikzüge for the Marchsblocks I through IV, page 44. The plan from Himmler was to change the entire dress for the SS (mich bewegt seit langem die Frage der SS-Uniformen. Nach dem Kriege trägt die SS als ein wertvolles Stück ihrer Tradition die schwarze SS-Uniform, überhaupt ausserhalb der Kaserne , jedoch ist eine Kleinigkeit zu korrigieren).

You damn right. I plan to keep them and put on Hermann Historica auction. Don't wast my time on estand.
