It had a tropical trapezoid at one time, which to my knowledge never existed, but I am unable to determine for myself whether the cap itself is original. If anyone could help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

I appreciate the responses. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to tell me the telltale signs of why this is a reproduction. The insignia that was previously on it was obviously fake, and I’m pretty sure that the inside stamp is as well, but is that it. Is the construction wrong, is the material wrong, is the shape wrong? I’m simply trying to educate myself, any further comments that can be made by anyone would be greatly appreciated.Comment
