    QUESTION,,, Did the luftwaffe wear unit insignia

    Hellooo,
    I was wondering if the Luftwaffe/Fallschrimjager worre unit emblems on their side caps like the KM did??? Thanks for any help...

      Generally no, but several of the Fallschirmjager formations wore them (see Schimpf and Meindl).

        There are shots of Fj’s in Crete with the shooting star painted on their S African pith helmets. Lots of esprit d’corps in the Wehrmacht
