Too me it looks a cap for the "Vlaamse Wacht" from Belgium (if being Original), but I do not know what color for the piping exactly was used (no time to have a look).
Red was also in use with other organizations from Belgium.
The insignia is anyway as was worn by them. Within the wreath other Roman numbers could be used, as II, III. This number means "Afdeling". It is a Third Reich-
force. The wreath with Roman number was worn above the right pocket of the tunic. Also a field-cap was worn by enlisted ranks.
It is a pity I cannot show photos, as I have some in wear of the enlisted cap and officer and field-cap, all excellent quality portrait photographs!Last edited by wilhelm Saris; 07-18-2019, 01:06 PM.

Could not find the color for the piping in my files, but the Roman numbering:
Abteilung I (Gent)
Abteilung II (Antwerpen)
Abteilung III (Oudenaarde)
Abteilung IV (Brussel)Last edited by wilhelm Saris; 07-19-2019, 07:28 AM.
